Perceived organizational support, employee work engagement and work life balance: Social exchange theory perspective

<p><em>This study aimed to determine the effect of Employee Work Engagement variable as a mediating between Perceived Organizational Support and Work-Life Balance. This type quantitative descriptive research with Structural Equation Modeling data processing approach. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. They collected by distributing questionnaires 200 security unit employees working at State Private Universities in Semarang City. results showed significant positive variables perceived organisational support, employee work engagement work-life balance. relationship three indicates that can mediate triadic process involvement balance an implementation social exchange theory. Employees give their time, energy, thoughts enthusiasm for organisation's benefit. Organisations provide remuneration form compensation welfare persistence advancement organisation. It gives sense satisfaction happiness be used yourself your family.</em></p><p> </p><p>Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel <em>Employee Engagement</em> sebagai mediasi antara <em>Perceived Support</em> dan <em>Work-life Balance</em>. Jenis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan <em>Structural Modeling</em> pendekatan pengolahan data. Teknik pengambilan sampel <em>purposive sampling</em>. Metode pengumpulan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada pegawai satpam yang bekerja di Perguruan Tinggi Negeri Swasta Kota Semarang. Hasil menunjukkan ada positif signifikan persepsi dukungan organisasi<em>, engagement</em> <em>work-life balance</em>. Pengaruh pada hubungan ketiga tersebut bahwa <em>employee mampu memediasi Proses triadik organisasi, keterlibatan kerja keseimbangan kehidupan merupakan implementasi teori pertukaran sosial. Karyawan memberikan waktu, tenaga, pikiran semangat kepentingan organisasi. Organisasi remunerasi berupa kompensasi kesejahteraan karyawan serta rasa kepuasan kebahagiaan dapat digunakan diri sendiri keluarga.</p>
